Vishwanath & Sons added ₹1.30Cr India net on Thursday, down 44.7% from Wednesday's ₹2.61Cr, taking the lifetime total to ₹109.15Cr against a ₹187.55Cr worldwide gross — but the more interesting move is in the overseas column, which ticked up to ₹61.25Cr after sitting flat at ₹60.00Cr for three straight days.
A domestic number can keep sliding and still not be the whole story — overseas just quietly moved for the first time in three days.
Domestic collections continue the pattern flagged earlier this week — a soft, gradually shrinking weekday floor, now down 69.0% week-on-week against Day 7, the steepest such fall of the run so far. The overseas figure had looked fully reported after three identical days at ₹60.00Cr; a ₹1.25Cr uptick doesn't change the diaspora market's overall shape, but it does mean that number wasn't quite as settled as it appeared.
Closing Week 2 with the lifetime net past ₹109Cr, the film remains one of this month's steadier Tamil-Telugu releases even as its own daily pace keeps thinning out heading into the third week.
