Corrections Policy
Sacnic tracks box office collections daily, and early figures are routinely revised as studios, trackers and distributors confirm final actuals. This page explains how we handle those revisions and how to report an error.
Routine Data Updates
Daily collection figures are frequently estimates when first published and are updated in place as confirmed numbers become available — this is normal box office reporting, not an error correction. Every article carries a dateModified timestamp reflecting the most recent update to its figures.
Substantive Corrections
When we get a fact wrong — a misattributed figure, an incorrect date, a wrong name or title — we fix it in the article as soon as it's verified. Corrections that materially change an article's meaning are noted inline near the fix, with the date of correction.
Reporting an Error
If you spot a factual error on Sacnic, tell us at our Contact page with the article URL and what's wrong. We review every report and correct confirmed errors promptly.
