The softer daily add isn't where the real story sits this week. The India-overseas gap that opened up on Tuesday has now stretched a fourth straight day: ₹3.25Cr, then ₹5.50Cr, and now ₹7.25Cr (₹119.25Cr India gross against ₹112.00Cr overseas).
The week-on-week comparison against Day 7 stands at down 53.7%, in line with the wider fall a second week normally shows against a premiere-buzz first week. Whether Friday brings a fifth day of separation or the overseas side finally answers back is the more interesting question than Thursday's routine dip.
