By Any Means opened to $2.7M in US domestic on Day 1 — a soft number for a wide release fronted by Mark Wahlberg.

US Domestic$2.7M
Worldwide$2.7M
A $2.7M opening day is a number, not a verdict — the first weekend decides whether this finds an audience at all.
It's also director Elegance Bratton's widest studio release to date. His previous feature, The Inspection, was a small, festival-circuit drama — a different scale of film and marketing entirely from a Wahlberg-led wide opener, which makes Day 1 alone even less predictive than usual.
With no budget figure on record yet, there's nothing to measure this against beyond the raw dollar total — the next two days matter more than this one.
