A nearly 40% fall between Friday and Saturday is common for youth-audience Telugu openers running on first-day curiosity alone — but rarely this steep this early. Epic - First Semester dropped from ₹2.10Cr on Day 1 to ₹1.30Cr on Day 2, a 38.1% fall that leaves little cushion heading into Sunday.
Day 2 Snapshot
Day 2 Add₹1.30Cr
Lifetime India Net₹3.83Cr
India Gross₹3.95Cr
Worldwide Gross₹5.60Cr
Budget₹12.00Cr
Two days in, the film has recovered less than a third of its ₹12Cr budget — not a verdict this early, since even a modest weekend can still add meaningfully, but the trajectory needs Sunday to hold rather than extend Saturday's slide. Directed by Aditya Haasan and led by Anand Deverakonda, the film opened without the kind of overnight buzz that usually cushions a second-day fall this size.
