A small daily gain rarely means much four weeks into a run, and Coyote vs. Acme's Day 26 is a good example — $0.6M domestic, up 7.6% from the previous day's $0.5M, but still down 31.2% against the same day a week earlier.
This film reached theaters at all only after a well-documented detour — Warner Bros. shelved it entirely in 2023 before a smaller distributor picked it up for release. A modest, low-key run was arguably the realistic outcome from that starting point, and $84.1M worldwide against a $70.0M budget is roughly where that outcome has landed: past the cost of the film itself, but nowhere near the 2.5x-plus a studio release typically needs to call itself a genuine hit.
