A near-doubling this deep into a run usually means a weekend day landed inside what looked like a weekday slide; Resident Evil's India release added ₹1.32Cr on Day 9, up 97.0% from the previous day's ₹0.67Cr.
Day 9 Snapshot
Day 9 Add₹1.32Cr
Lifetime India Net₹16.69Cr
India Gross₹19.73Cr
Worldwide Gross₹18.25Cr
No budget figure is attached to this release, so there's no recovery ratio to test the ₹16.69Cr lifetime net against. The week-on-week comparison against Day 2 is still down 60.6%, so today's bounce is a weekend blip inside a continuing decline, not a reversal of it.
